PinPoint: know exactly where your customer is

No more “I’m somewhere near a roundabout”.

When a driver is stranded, they’re stressed and often unsure of their exact location. “Near a junction on the A303” isn’t enough to dispatch accurately, and every minute spent working out where they are is a minute the driver isn’t moving.

PinPoint fixes it in seconds. Send a location link from the job in Apex RMS, your customer taps it once, and their exact GPS coordinates drop straight into the job record. Your controller sees precisely where they are and dispatches accordingly.

How it works

From within the job in Apex RMS, send a location request to your customer’s mobile. They receive a link, tap it once to share their GPS location, and the coordinates appear in the job record immediately.

It works on any smartphone – no app download, no account needed. Your customer doesn’t need to know what PinPoint is. They just tap a link.

Adding PinPoint to your account

PinPoint is available as an add-on to Apex RMS.

  1. Log in to your CSSP
  2. Select RMS from the left-hand menu
  3. Go to Extras
  4. Find PinPoint and click Enable
  5. Confirm on the pop-up, and you’re live
