New Drug Management Function

The Drug Management function has arrived!

We are very excited to have recently added a new feature to our Patient Transport Software.

Drug Management is a really useful new function that allows you to monitor what drugs you have in a private ambulance or vehicle. It’s a fantastic addition both for management and auditing purposes.

Users can create a number of drug boxes in the system and allocate them to vehicles. You can record the types of drugs in the box, the quantity, along with the expiry date and set a re-order level.

A report can then be set up and a notification sent to remind you to reorder when stock levels are low or when they are near to their expiry date. The software also allows you to search for a drug to see where they are stored and the amount available.

Drug usage can also be recorded. You can select the ambulance drivers name, the date and time the drug was administered, name of drug box taken from, its name, quantity as well as recording the patient details. The software will automatically reduce stock levels when drugs are used making it really simple for re-ordering.
